Required materials:

1. To make the base of the card, fold a piece of colored paper in half. Choose a color that matches the deer’s fur.
2. Very carefully cut the deer out of the coloring page and stick it to the front of the card. Lisa likes to stand out by putting a small border around it.

4. Have your child write a special note in the card. Mike once made one for Emily and said, “Mom, you’re as kind as a deer in the woods!” This melted her heart.

3. Deer mobile decoration

Materials required:

• Deer coloring page
• Colored deer cutout
• String or yarn
• Wooden stick or clothes rack
• Tape or glue

1. Print and color a few deer pages; then, cut them out very accurately. If your child likes painting, let your child use watercolors to make it more artistic. Once the Blue Deer was made, Mike insisted that it came from a magical winter world.
2. Cut into yarn or threads of different lengths and tape or glue on both ends. Lisa loves to weave her strings to emphasize her beauty.

4. Reading time deer bookmarks

Required materials:

• Laminate or tape
• Hole punch
• Ribbon

1. Select a deer image from the Coloring Page and cut a rectangular bar around it to make sure the deer shows a significant display. If your child prefers something unusual, try a round or jagged shape.
2. Laminate or cover it with clear tape to expand the bookmark. This trick comes to Lisa and me after Mike accidentally puts his first bookmark in his juice! Today our bookmarks have suffered multiple overflows. For added durability, we also like to use cardboard paper.
3. Make a hole at the top of the bookmark and pass through the ribbon. Mike likes jungle-themed ribbons; Lisa likes to use the glittering Lisa. If your child likes beading, they can embellish their work with some vibrant beads.
4. Customize bookmarks with stickers, glitters, and even handwritten notes. When Mike draws sketches of small acorns or paws on the edge, Lisa always writes barely cited on her text, such as “Happy Read!”

5. Deer Snowball

Required materials:

• Small glass or plastic can
• Deer coloring page
• White glitter or fake snow
• Water and glycerin (optional)
• Strong glue

1. Choose a small jar with a tightly closed lid. Clear it so you can view the snowy scene. Last time Mike chose a peanut butter jar and insisted on not removing the label, calling it a “special effect.”
2. Glue the colored deer cutouts on the inside of the jar lid. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next stage.
3. Add a few drops of glycerin and almost fill the jar with water. As a result, the snowfall rate is slower.
4. Then screw the lid firmly onto the jar after sprinkling with fake snow or white glitter.
5. Shake it and see the snow fall gently around the deer.

Required materials:

2. Place the cutout on a blank canvas and decide the background color. Mike painted him with the deep forest green. Lisa chose the pink sunset.
3. If you want a contour effect, paint around the deer cut; then, remove it to reveal the form. Instead, if you want to improve the effect, glue the colored deer to the canvas.
4. Add other decorations, including trees, stars, and even dark paint. Lisa once surrounded her deer with a little silver star, and it looked like a dreamy night sky!

Interesting tips: Use a sponge to apply several paint shades to create some texture. It produces a cute layering effect.

7. Memory game with deer as the theme

Required materials:

• Multiple copies of the deer coloring page
• Card paper
• Scissors
• Laminate (optional)

1. Print two repeats of each deer and color them. Allow your child to create unique and fun pairs using several colors.
2. To make the pictures stronger, cut them into squares and glue them to card stock. Mike just wanted to quickly cut them to start playing the game, but Lisa loved designing elegant borders.
3. If you want the game to be used continuously, laminate the card or cover it with clear tape. We started researching this after Mike’s backpack crashed into our first homemade memory game.
4. Sort the cards and then place them face to face. Take turns flipping two at a time, looking for a game. The most victorious person!

Interesting tips: Make some images almost accurate, but small changes are made to create different levels of challenges. It keeps children on their guard!

8. Deer Party Mask

Required materials:

• Deer coloring page
• Elastic string
• Hole punch
• Scissors

step:

1. From the Coloring page, select a deer’s face and carefully cut it out, making sure to include eye holes so that the kids can see through the mask. Lisa once put extra lashes on her look!
2. Mimic the fur, color and embellish the deer mask with markings, glitter and even tiny felt.
3. Punch holes on both sides of the mask and pass the elastic string through. Change it so that your child can fit comfortably on their head.
4. Let happiness begin! Lisa and Mike love the story of magical adventures in the forest with masks to express the story!
