8 kinds of children’s handicrafts using chicken coloring page

I am James, the father of two creative kids Lisa and Mike. As a private school teacher, I love finding fun ways to help kids develop their sensory and motor skills. Required materials:

1. First, let your kids color the chicken picture using their favorite colors. Mike really likes the green color, even if the chicken is not usually green. Come up with new ideas is the key!
2. After coloring the chickens, carefully cut them out.
3. Place each chicken cut onto thick card stock or construction paper and dry it for a few minutes. This will make them last longer.

2. Greeting card with chicken theme

Required materials:

• Chicken coloring page (color)
• Blank card stock or folded paper
• Scissors
• glue
• Stickers, glitters, markers (optional)

step:

1. From the coloring page, let your kids choose their favorite chicken design. Lisa said they looked “extremely cute”.
2. Cut the chicken carefully and stick it to the front of the folded card stock.
3. Add personal details with markers, glitters or stickers. Toddlers should be encouraged to create unique cards using vivid colors. Lisa said it reminded her of Hello Kitty. So she added a pink bow to the chicken!
4. Help your kids create a nice message inside. If they are still learning to write, you can write these words and let them go over them.
5. Make the glue set and then surprise the handmade chicken theme greeting card to the family!

Personal story: Lisa created one of the cards for her grandmother last time and she was so excited to deliver handmade surprises via email!

3. Chicken mobile decoration

Materials required:

• Chicken coloring page
• String or yarn
• Hole punch
• Wooden pin or stick
• Beads (optional)

step:

1. On the printable page, first cut out the chicken of different colors. If you have more chickens, you will have a fuller phone.
2. For each chicken cut, make a hole in the top. If your child wants to add beads, add more holes at the bottom.
3. Make ropes or yarns of different lengths. Because Lisa likes counting, I asked her to choose how long each piece should take.
4. Pass the rope through the holes and tie knots around each chicken to hold them in place.
5. Add the other end of each rope to a stick or pin made of wood. To make it more interesting, set them to different heights.
6. Once all the chickens are fixed, hang your new phone in a special place.

4. Bookmarks with chicken theme

Required materials:

• Chicken coloring page
• Cardstock or laminate
• Scissors
• Ribbon (optional)

step:

1. For more unusual bookmarks, cut in the chicken room or pick the rectangular section from your coloring page.
2. To prevent the color of chicken from bent, stick it to strong cards.
3. If you want it to last longer, laminate it before cutting the final form. Lisa loves running the laminate because it makes the bookmarks very shiny!
4. On the top, make a hole and secure the ribbon to it. For Lisa’s bookmarks, we used pink ribbons. For Mike’s Green.
5. Urge your child to read their bedtime stories from handmade bookmarks. Mike loves using him when we are studying farm animals!

5. Chicken refrigerator magnet

Required materials:

• Chicken coloring page
• Scissors
• Magnetic or small round magnet

step:

1. Let your child paint the cut chicken in strong, vivid shades. Lisa always chooses pink and yellow chickens. Mike prefers green and orange; he claims his chicken is “super power”.
2. Follow its outline as much as possible and carefully cut out the chicken shape. We cut alternately to ensure smooth edges rather than jagged.
3. The back of a strong glue or adhesive will help you attach the cutout to the magnetic plate. For optimal fixation, place one small magnet on the top and the other on the bottom. Lisa just tried adding one, but it kept slipping. We corrected the error!
4. Let it dry completely before refrigerating. Mike checks every five minutes to see if we are ready as we wait for about an hour.
5. Keep school notes, grocery lists or artwork on new magnets. Lisa placed her directly next to her weekly meal schedule, and Mike patrolled the map with his latest paws.

Interesting tips: Mike will never forget to feed the dog. He glued the magnet to the refrigerator door next to the refrigerator door.

6. Chicken Party Hat

Required materials:

• Chicken coloring page
• Paper or card paper
• Scissors
• Glue or tape
• Elastic string

step:

1. From your coloring page, pick a funny chicken face and paint it in vivid and happy tones. Lisa decides to make a decision for her pink because she says, “Chicken can be great too!”
2. Cut out a fairly large piece of card stock, roll it into a cone shape, and glue it or tape it. Make sure your child’s head fits comfortably.
3. Ensure the chicken’s noodle center by fixing it in front of the cone. Mike announced the “Ultimate Chicken Hat” to add an extra beak to him.
4. Holes are holed on both sides and fix elastic ropes to fit the chin. Change the length to be comfortable but also safe.

2. Place them on wax paper so that they stick tightly. Lisa recommends brushing glue so it covers evenly.
3. To create a stained glass effect, tear a few pieces of thin paper and gently overlap them slightly in the chicken. Mike is fun to chop thin paper. We had extra crumbs around us!
4. Let it dry completely before cutting any extra wax paper. This is the ideal time to appreciate the way color mixes!
5. Once the predator is finished, tape it to the sunny window and see how the light dances to highlight the color brilliantly. After we installed them, Lisa rushed to the window and shouted, “Like magic!”

Interesting tips: Spread some glitter if you want to produce a glitter effect before the glue is dry. The sun will shine.

8. Storybook with chicken theme

Required materials:

• Multiple printed chicken coloring pages
• Hole punch
• Binder ring or ribbon
• Writing blank pages

step:

1. Let your child color many chicken coloring pages in their original way. When they are colored, inspire them to think about the story they wish to make.
2. On one side of each page, punch holes and then stack them neatly. Lisa likes to put them logically, fitting in narrative.
3. Make your own book with an adhesive ring or ribbon. Choose a lively ribbon color that complements the theme.
4. Create a blank page where your child can write his own chicken-themed narrative. Young children can add speech bubbles to your images or control them as you write.
5. Enjoy the adventures they create and read a book aloud as a nighttime narrative. Lisa and Mike created a book about “The Brave Chicken” last month, and even performed the story after that.
